After taking a break and collecting information about the ancient trail at the Nanan Visitor’s Center, visitors can drive to the next attraction: Nanan Waterfall.The waterfall originates from Mt. Dalixian in Zuoxi Township, Hualian County. Besides the well-preserved mountain flora and gorgeous steep mountain view, the waterfall looks like a piece of clean white silk. The gorgeous scenery is worth visit.The waterfall is not far from the highway, and visitors can simply walk there. This magnificent 50m-tall waterfall running down directly from the cliff never dries throughout the year. A few ponds of different depth below the waterfall become the natural swimming pools of local kids in summer. When the sun shines over the splashes, a rainbow is formed around, creating a wonderful scene.
