[Introduction of accessible taxis]
The taxis cater to the urgent or last-minute needs of persons with disabilities or reduced mobility (employment, medical care, travel). Drivers of accessible taxis have all received professional education and training from the taxi company to ensure the safety of the passengers.

[Taxi fare]
1. The taxi fare is charged according to the taximeter (based on the taxi fare structure announced by the Hualien County Government).
A. Initial charge: NT$100 for the first 1,000m and NT$5 for every 230m thereafter.
B. Delay charge: For speeds of 5km/h or lower, an additional NT$5 will be charged per 2 minutes.
C. Nighttime surcharge: An additional 20% will be charged at nighttime (22:00–06:00).
