Yuli Wetlands have a beautiful and serene ecological ecosystem, which attracts photographers and tourists who love nature. Yuli Wetlands are a part of Qimo Village, so it is also called “Qimo Wetlands Park.” The Park used to be wetlands constructed by the Environmental Protection Bureau for processing the wastewater from Yuli Township. The Wetlands are 4.9 hectares in size, and are managed by Qimo Village Community Development Association.In the early days, the Yuli Wetlands were covered with weeds. After clearing and grubbing by volunteers and experts, the Wetlands have been completely rejuvenated and become an outdoor classroom for schools and community eco tours. They are also a precious place for the ecological education in Hualien.
