Ruisui Township
The Tropic of Cancer passes through Ruisui Township, where farm and livestock businesses are prosperous. Various agricultural scenes are everywhere, such as crops and fruits, farmlands, ranches, and tea plantations in the mountains; also, this is the home of hot springs. Touring the town by bicycle is the best experience of the beautiful Ruisui. The Cattle Cow Agriculture Production and Marketing Group sells a variety of dairy products and introduces visitors to the manufacturing process of dairy products. Besides, owing to the high density of the Hakka population in Ruisui, Hakka architecture is easily visible near Ruisui Railway Station. In particular, the rarely remaining cigarette warehouses are here; they are the best examples for visitors to take a retrospect view on the prosperity of the tobacco industry.
Ruisui is also known as home to hot springs. Along the Zhanglin tree tunnel, the refreshing camphor scent is all around, truly healing and cooling. So after returning to the starting point at Ruisui Railway Station, it’s good to take a hot spring spa as a happy ending to the trip.
