Luoshan is the first organic village in Taiwan. In order to protect their beautiful hometown, the local residents have strived to jointly promote non-toxic industries in the Luoshan Organic Village. The mud volcano in the Luoshan Organic Village contains the four features of a “mud volcano landform”: mud shield, mud basin, mud marr, and mud hole. These are rare natural wonders in the world.On the other side of Luoshan village, there is a waterfall. A “big pond” can also be found near the waterfall. Thanks to the efforts put into the construction of Luoshan Organic Village in recent years, you can see water chestnuts growing exponentially in the summer and autumn. By combining the natural saltwater gushing from the volcano with the locally produced organic soya beans, the local residents make the unique mud volcano tofu. The tofu has become the must-eat food for tourists in Luoshan.Besides going on a day trip to Luoshan, you can also choose to stay at a bed and breakfast (B&B) in the village.
