Hualien Visitor Center is in Provincial Highway 11. There is exhibition room with East coast tourist attractions, natural scenery, culture heritages introduction. The capacity of multimedia room are 81 persons.
Hualien Visitor Center is on the hill with great lookout of Pacific Ocean. Longflower Lily blooms in every Apr and May along the coast trail.
Heading north with 10-minute drive from Hualien visitor center, you can reach the sand dune where you can see the big waves in the confluence of Hualine Creek and Pacific Ocean. Therefore, Haulien Port was so-called Whirl-Lan (Big Waves) Port in ancient times.
