Luoshan Bike Trail is in Fuli Township at the southernmost extent of Hualien. Starting from Fuli Farmer’s association and ending at Luoshan Waterfall Scenic Area, the route includes visits to the unique mud volcano terrain and the Luoshan Organic Village, Taiwan’s first organic agriculture village.

The villagers have integrated local culture and the natural ecosystem to create a three-in-one organic community featuring “production, life, and ecosystem.” It supplies organic farm produce all year round and provides the public with a space to experience a self-sufficient life relying on organic agriculture.

People may ride bicycles to the magnificent Loushan Waterfall and the particular mud volcano terrain. They can join DIY workshops on mud volcano tofu or Aiyu jelly. Also, they may try Luoshan’s local agricultural products, which are irrigated by pure spring water from Central Mountain Range and grown on organic farmlands, are non-toxic, pollution-free, environmentally friendly, and healthy.

The total length of the path is about 4 km.

Route Information: The route starts downhill and goes uphill on the return trip, a steeper trail.
