At the Qixingtan Scenic Area in Hualien, eight internationally renowned land artists - including James Brunt and Jon Foreman from the UK, Pontus Jansson from Sweden, and Taiwanese artists Mayaw, Li-Jen Lin, Lekal Diway, and Yu-Jung Huang - joined forces with Professor Wen-Ching Tsai and students from the Department of Arts & Design, National Dong Hwa University. Together, they used stones, driftwood, and the shoreline itself as their medium - creating one-of-a-kind poetic landscapes. From imaginative stone stacks and intricate totems to delicately balanced sculptures, each piece is a conversation with nature.
